1995 Rivesaltes A.O.C., vin doux naturel, Domaine Gardiés, Vingrau, Languedoc-Roussillon, France
A monument in bronze

Amber in colour with wonderfully unfurling aromas of raisins, coffee, dark chocolate and dried fruit. A dense, complex and full-bodied structure with a fruity sweetness and an unbelievably lingering finish.
Jean Gardiés is more the reticent type, but his wines speak a very clear language. Not only do they belong to Roussillon’s elite, they are also among the best and most individual wines in France. Stylistically they differ markedly from Languedoc wines, sometimes being more reminiscent of the excellent wines from the Priorat region in neighbouring Spain.
Alcohol by volume: 16%, serving temperature: 10–14°C.

Approx. 13 Euro (for 0.5 l)
