2005 Château Tour de Mirambeau, Rosé, Grand Vin de Bordeaux A.C., France
A bouquet of spring flowers
Bright red in appearance with aromas of ripe red berries, peach and melon. A full-bodied, round, supple and harmonious wine, very drinkable and with a well-integrated acidity. Very refreshing in spite of a slight residual sweetness.
“For more than 250 years the Despagne family has been making wine on its Mirambeau property situated between St. Emilion and Sauternes. Jean-Louis Despagne is considered the leading light of the appellation and was one of the first oenologists to perfectly put into practice the theory of maceration for white wine. His speciality is wines that are characterized by an extraordinary fruit and elegance.” (Wine merchant Mövenpick)
The same applies to this rosé made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
