A brilliant, deep ruby-red colour, dense and complex, with intense aromas of cherries, blackcurrants, plain chocolate, cocoa, caramel and candied orange peel, coupled with suggestions of pimento and rose petals. A fine palate, with fresh and elegant nuances of cinnamon, pepper and fresh mint. A supple taste with velvety tannins and a gratifying finish. A wine that is not only now a pleasure to drink, but will continue to be so for the next ten years.
