Curd Cheese Balls
ingredients
Serves around 4
100 g butter or margarine
125 g sugar
2 eggs
juice of one lemon
250 g low-fat curd cheese
400 g flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
6 tbsp milk
to decorate:
75 g sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

preparation
1. Mix the ingredients into a dough.
2. Heat some fat in a fryer or high-sided pan to 170–180°C.
3. Use two teaspoons to form dough pieces, place in the hot fat, and cook for 5–7 mins until golden brown.
4. Dry the curd cheese balls then roll them in the cinnamon and sugar mix.
